About Us
Premagic is an advocacy marketing platform for events. We run campaigns before, during and after your event that get attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors posting about it, and every post brings registrations back to you. It is a marketing channel most events already have and almost none of them use.
Why we built Premagic
Most event marketing is paid for twice. You buy ads, email lists and sponsorships to sell the first ticket, then do it all again for the next edition. Every year the same budget buys a little less reach.
The people who come to your event, this year and in past years, are the best promoters it will ever have. Their networks are full of people like them, and a post from a peer gets read in a way an ad does not. Very few events give those people anything to post, so that reach is lost.
We think every event should treat its attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors as a marketing channel in its own right, planned and measured like paid or email. Premagic exists to make that channel easy to run. We started in 2018 in Bengaluru, India, and today we work out of Kochi and Dubai with events across the globe.
Campaigns across the whole event
An event has three moments when people want to talk about it: when they sign up, while they are there, and once it is over. Premagic runs a campaign at each one, and every share carries a tracked link, so you can see which people and which posts brought in registrations.
Before the event
Campaigns that fill the room. When registrations open there is nobody to market yet, so we start with your last edition’s attendees. Instead of a generic “we’re back” email, each of them gets a throwback post with their own photos from last year, ready to share. As new people register, they and your speakers, exhibitors and sponsors get personalized “I’m attending” or “I’m speaking” posters and AI avatars, each with a tracked link, one-tap sharing and a leaderboard showing who is bringing people in.
During the event
Campaigns that keep people posting while they are still in the room. Each attendee gets the photos they appear in within minutes, framed with your event branding, so a share from the venue carries your name and your registration link with it.
After the event
Campaigns that start the next edition. Galleries and memory posters keep the event in people’s feeds for weeks, sponsors get a report of the visibility they paid for, and last year’s attendees become the first marketing push for next year.
Content people want to share
Nobody reposts a generic event banner. People do post things with their own name and face on them. Posters, AI avatars, photos and reels are how Premagic puts each person into your marketing, which is why they share it and why their network pays attention.
Posters
“I’m attending”, “I’m speaking” and “Visit our booth” creatives with the person’s name, photo and role on them.
AI avatars
A branded avatar of the attendee in the event’s theme. People post them because they like how they look.
Photos
Face-matched photos sent to each attendee during the event, with your branding and sponsors on the frame.
Reels and videos (coming soon)
Short session clips and speaker videos that speakers can share with their own audience.
Who we work with
Premagic has run campaigns at more than 4,000 events, including GITEX GLOBAL and events from Informa Connect, IDC and dmg events.
Brand teams at HCL Tech, Mercedes-Benz, OpenText, G2, Nasscom, Khaleej Times and SaaSBoomi use it for their own events too. The customer stories show what each of them ran and what it brought in.
Corporates
Customer conferences, partner summits and internal events, often with strict rules about attendee data.
Trade show organizers
Large shows where attendees, exhibitors and sponsors can all be turned into promoters.
Associations
Member conferences where the members themselves are the best way to reach the next member.
Event agencies
Teams running events for clients who want registrations and reach to show for it.
Event companies
Organizers whose business is the event, and whose growth depends on next year’s registrations.
Educational institutions
Convocations, alumni meets and campus festivals, where students and alumni carry the story furthest.
What 4,000 events have taught us
Advocacy fills seats. At GITEX GLOBAL 2025, more than 32,000 attendees became advocates for the event. Each brought in 3.7 referrals on average, and the team saved over $160,000 in ad spend. Read the GITEX GLOBAL story.
Most of the room will share if you make it easy. Across 366 events in our Event Advocacy Benchmark, the best-run events got 50 to 89% of attendees posting. The difference was rarely the audience. It was whether people had something personal to share and a single tap to share it.
It works for every audience. Currency Research expected their Banknote Conference crowd of senior executives and industry veterans to ignore anything that looked like a social campaign. They took part anyway. Read the Currency Research story.
Measure it in registrations. Impressions are nice to report, but the number that matters is how many people registered because someone shared. Every Premagic campaign is tracked to that number, along with reach and sponsor exposure, so you know what the channel is worth before you plan the next edition.
How we handle attendee data
Our campaigns use people’s names, faces and photos, so we take their data seriously. Our information security management system is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the international standard for information security, and we are GDPR compliant. We treat an attendee’s face as theirs, not the organizer’s.
Some customers need more than that. HCL Tech runs internal board sessions and client gatherings, and needed every bit of attendee data to stay inside their own systems, with no personal data stored and no third-party access. We built the setup to meet it, and the HCL case study explains how.
